Engineered Precision Components and Composite Materials
Spaulding Composites, Inc. has been designing and producing specialty composite materials for cryogenic applications for over 30 years – We were instrumental in the development of cryogenic grades of glass epoxy materials. Our vertically integrated manufacturing process has placed SCI at the forefront of the cryogenic market. The cryogenic materials we manufacture are widely employed in applications where they come in direct contact with liquid nitrogen and liquid helium. Spaulding’s versatile materials have been formulated to be used in LNG transportation and storage, both as bottom tank supports and horizontal tank supports, high energy physics such as superconducting magnets and large-scale lab equipment such as particle accelerators, bulk storage, structural components for satellite applications in extreme environments and Dewar’s neck tubes.
